She has been a member of IREM’s National Executive Committee since 2008, and has served on several IREM® task forces, work groups, and evaluation teams. Additionally, she is a member of the Board of Directors of the IREM® Foundation as well as an IREM® instructor.
Muir has authored many real estate and motivational articles published in the Journal of Property Management (JPM®) and, in 2011, was inducted into the IREM® “Academy of Authors.” In 2010, she was featured in Vol. 2 of 50-Interviews: Successful Property Managers, a book by Michael Levy. She also is a trainer and motivational speaker, and has delivered presentations on real estate and other subjects locally and nationally.
Muir is a native Oregonian and lives in Troutdale, OR with her husband and three Parson Jack Russell terriers. She enjoys riding her 700 Honda CTX motorcycle, has her own company making fashion jewelry (www.hooliedesigns.com), and is writing a book tailored to the real estate sector that she hopes to have published in the near future.
