The successful completion of this exam is the final step to earning your ARM certification. If you have met the ARM education requirement, you are ready to take the exam, which tests both experience-based and education-based knowledge. The exam can be taken in the classroom or independently with a local proctor.
The open-book exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions and measures professional competency in the following areas:
- Human resources
- Financial operations
- Legal and risk management
- Maintenance and operations
- Marketing and leasing
The ARM Certification Exam is administered after the classroom offerings of "Successful Site Management" (RES201) and "Common Interest Developments: Managing Condominium Association Properties" (CID201) and the examination fee is included in the classroom tuition. If you take either of these courses via the online course format, you must register for the ARM Certification Exam independently with a local proctor.
