Sandi Caputo, CPM^®

Sandi Caputo, CPM^®, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, will serve as the 2011 and 2012 Regional Vice President for Region 14. During her two-year term, she will have oversight for the activities of IREM’s eight Canadian chapters

Ms. Caputo has been employed by the City of Winnipeg for the last 24 years in the Planning Property and Development Department.  She currently serves as a Leasing Officer in the Real Estate Division, managing properties for civic accommodations.

Ms. Caputo earned the IREM-conferred Certified Property Manager^® (CPM^®) designation in 2008.  She played a significant role in the formation of the IREM^® Council No. 114 in Winnipeg, and is a past Chair of the Council.  She also has served as a board member of the Real Estate Institute of Canada and the Real Estate Institute of Manitoba for the last 15 years, holding the position of President with the Manitoba group on three separate occasions.

In addition to her professional affiliations, Ms. Caputo is an accomplished artist working in mono print, acrylic and mixed media. Active in civic and community affairs, she has served on the boards and committees for several charitable organizations. For the last four years, she has been the Chair of the Art Gallery Committee for the Canadian Cancer Society’s annual Gala Ball event.
