IREM Regional Vice President

2011 and 2012 Region 8 Vice President,
Institute of Real Estate Management
Ben Forsyth, CPM®

Ben Forsyth, CPM®, of Salt Lake City, UT., will serve as the 2011 and 2012 Regional Vice President for Region 8. During his two-year term, he will have oversight for the activities of eight IREM® chapters in Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico.

Mr. Forsyth is vice president of Westerra Realty and Management, Salt Lake. His responsibilities include directing both the financial and daily operations of more than 1.5 million square feet of retail, office, and industrial property throughout Utah. He has been active in IREM since 2004 and served as president of  IREM’s Utah Chapter No 33.  On the national level, Mr. Forsyth served on IREM’s Student Outreach Committee and is member of the advisory board that planned IREM® iCon 2010, IREM’s annual industry education and networking conference held recently in Orlando, FL.

A graduate of the University of Utah with a BS degree in Finance, Mr. Forsyth is active in his community and is married with two children.
