2011 and 2012 Region 3 Vice President,

Vera McPherson, CPM^®, ARM^®

Vera C. McPherson, CPM^®, ARM^®, of Williamsburg, VA, will serve as the 2011 and 2012 Regional Vice President for Region 3.  During her two-year term, she will have oversight for the activities of the six IREM chapters in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.

Ms. McPherson is Director of Commercial Portfolio with Williamsburg, VA-based W.H.H. Trice and Co. With more than 14 years of industry experience, she joined the firm. in 1996. Her current responsibilities include overseeing the company’s commercial portfolio of more than 400,000 square feet of office, retail, mixed-use and industrial space. 

Previously, she resided and worked in Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia and was affiliated for eight years with a mortgage banking firm. Her responsibilities there included mortgage loan servicing and accounting of HUD, FNMA and Freddie Mac loans.

Ms. McPherson has long been active in IREM’s Virginia Tidewater Chapter No. 39, and has held several leadership roles with the chapter, including that as president of the chapter’s Executive Council. She was honored with the chapter’s “Certified Property Manager^® (CPM^®) Candidate of the Year” award, its “Accredited Residential Manager^® (ARM^®) of the Year award,” and is a two-time recipient its “CPM^® of the Year” award.

Ms. McPherson’s service with IREM at the national level includes serving as Chair of its Diversity Advisory Board, and as a member of its Membership and Credentialing Committee and the IREM^® Governing Council. She earned the IREM-conferred ARM^® accreditation in 2001 and its CPM^® designation in 2005. 

Ms. McPherson is a REALTOR^® in Virginia.
