IREM Regional Vice President

2011 and 2012 Region 13 Vice President,
Institute of Real Estate Management
Debra Owings, CPM®

Debra Owings, CPM®, of Memphis, TN, will serve as the 2011 and 2012 Regional Vice President for Region 13. During her two-year term, she will have oversight for the activities of IREM® chapters in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

Ms. Owings is president of Retail Management Services Co., Memphis. She has more than 25 years of industry experience managing real estate and specializes in commercial asset management. She earned the IREM-conferred Certified Property Manager® (CPM®) designation in 2004.

Ms. Owings has been long active in IREM’s Memphis Chapter No. 20, serving in several leadership positions, including that as president.  In 2007, she was honored by the chapter with its “President’s Award.”

Ms. Owings has served on committees with the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS®, and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). In addition to her professional affiliations, Ms. Owings is a local supporter of Youth Villages and Habitat for Humanity.
