IREM Senior Vice President

Senior Vice President,
Institute of Real Estate Management
Jay Windsor, CPM®

Jay Windsor, CPM®, is a Senior Vice President of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®). He also is Port Property Manager for Broward County – Port Everglades, FL, where he oversees the property management and leasing of Port Everglades properties including office, warehouses, land and the foreign trade zone. In addition, he works on special Port projects as directed and is the Port's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator. Port Everglades is one of the largest cruise and cargo ports in the United States.

Windsor earned the IREM-conferred Certified Property Manager® (CPM®) credential in 1988 and has been active in the organization ever since. He has held numerous positions with IREM's South Florida Chapter No. 19, including that of president and prior to his relocation to South Florida, was affiliated with IREM's Dallas Chapter No. 14.

At the national level, Windsor has served previously as a senior vice president, regional vice president, chair of several committees and as a member of the IREM® Executive Committee. He also was chosen four years ago to head up the Advisory Board that helped to plan year-long activities in conjunction with IREM's 75th anniversary.

Windsor earned his Bachelor of Science degree with Special Attainments in Commerce in 1983 from Washington and Lee University, Lexington, VA. He is a former member the Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce and served on its Executive Committee. He also was a member of the Coconut Grove Village Council and Coconut Grove Parking Advisory Trust.
