2010 President, Institute of Real Estate Management
O. Randall Woodbury, CPM®

O. Randall Woodbury, CPM®, is the 2010 President of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®). As well, he is Corporate Secretary and Vice President in charge of Property Management for Woodbury Corporation, a family real estate firm since 1919.  The firm specializes in developing and managing retail, office and hotel properties in the Western United States, mostly for its own portfolio.

Mr. Woodbury received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the University of Utah and spent seven years in mortgage banking. In 1981, he was asked to head up Woodbury Corporation’s property management department and began pursuing the CPM® designation, which he received in 1987. 

Nationally, Mr. Woodbury has served IREM on various committees, as a Regional Vice President and as a member of the Executive Committee.  At the chapter level, he has served in many capacities including president of Utah Chapter No. 33 in 1992.  He was honored by the chapter in 1993, 2000 and 2005 as its “CPM® of the Year.”

Mr. Woodbury is a principal in several real estate ventures, serves as a Director of American Bank of Commerce, and holds Utah real estate and insurance licenses.  Involved in church, civic and charitable organizations, he is a member of Rotary, the University of Utah Research Park Advisory Committee and is a board member and a past president of the Granite Education Foundation, serving one of the largest school districts in Utah.
