IREM Regional Vice President

2010 and 2011 Region 4 Vice President,
Institute of Real Estate Management
Kevin Grail, CPM®

Kevin Grail, CPM, CPO, of Winter Park, FL, is serving as the 2010-2011 Regional Vice President for Region 4. During his term, he will have oversight for the activities of the five IREM chapters in Florida and Georgia.

 President of Strong Management, Inc., Winter Park, Grail has over 23 years of industry experience and specializes in multi-family management of market rate apartments as well as project-based Section-8 communities.

Since joining Strong Management in 1998, he has brought new fee management accounts to the firm and has started a new company specifically to manage student and faculty housing for Rollins College, the oldest recognized college in Florida.

Grail began his career in Sherman Oaks, CA, and has over the years worked for AIMCO, NHP, Genmar, and ACF Property Management, gaining experience with conventional, Bond, and Tax Credit properties.

Grail earned the IREM-conferred Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation in 2006 and has been active in the organization both locally and nationally. He has served in many leadership positions with IREM’s Central Florida Chapter No. 60, including that as president. He was honored as the chapter’s “CPM  Candidate of the Year” in 2006, as its “CPM of the Year” in 2007, and currently serves as its chair of the Minority and Student Outreach Committee.  At the national level, he has been vice chair of IREM’s industry Standards Board, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Journal of Property Management (JPM®), IREM’s award winning bi-monthly magazine.

Grail earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stetson University in 1982, and obtained his Florida Real Estate broker’s license in 1994.  He is on the 2010 Board of Directors of the Apartment Association of Greater Orlando and serves on its’ Legislative Committee.  In addition to his professional affiliations, Grail is involved at the community level with Habitat for Humanity, Toastmasters, and the Winter Park Tennis Committee. He and his wife have two sons.
