2012 President-elect
Institute of Real Estate Management
Beth Machen, CPM®

Elizabeth (Beth) Machen, CPM®, is the 2012 President-elect of the Institute of Real Estate Management. She is also President of the Charlotte, NC-based Machen Advisory Group, Inc., which offers third party management for all property types, as well as LEED AP consulting for existing buildings.

Beth most enjoys working on property takeovers, rehabs, stabilizing properties, analyzing property performance for prospective buyers, and serving on due diligence teams. She also specializes in disaster and emergency training, as well as serving as the LEED AP on several LEED projects.

Beth earned her CPM in 1996 and has been active both nationally and at the local level. She enjoys downtime at Lake Norman, and is especially proud of her grandchild Caleb
