New IREM Benefits with Peirce College
With the convenience and flexibility to study on campus or online, Peirce College is the college that really works for working adults. Located in Center City Philadelphia, Peirce is in the business of transforming lives by making sure the benefits of higher education are accessible and attainable to non-traditional college students of all ages and backgrounds. The partnership between IREM and Peirce provides the following benefits for IREM Members:

• Receive twenty-five percent (25%) off Peirce College tuition
• College credit for selected IREM courses
  Peirce College offers credit toward the completion of an associate or bachelor’s degree to students completing real estate management courses taught by IREM.  Students can earn up to 30 credits toward an associate degree or up to 90 credits toward a bachelor’s degree through any combination of transfer credits, credit by examination, work experience or portfolio assessment.
• $50 application fee is waived
  When applying to Peirce College, IREM Members must attach an IREM membership verification letter to their application to waive the fee.  As with all institutions of higher education, the college must then review all application materials and determine whether candidates meet their admissions and eligibility requirements.

University of Phoenix
IREM courses may earn elective credit towards a degree at the University of Phoenix.

IREM also reaches out to specialty markets in the affordable housing and military housing sectors through partnerships with these organizations.

Affordable Housing Management through NeighborWorks America
NeighborWorks offers several IREM courses at Training Institutes held every year across the country for individuals in community development and affordable housing.

IREM also worked with The Consortium for Housing and Asset Management (CHAM) to develop a specialized asset management course for affordable housing managers that is offered at NeighborWorks Training Institutes.

Military Housing Management
through Professional Housing Management Association (PHMA) and Military Housing and Lodging Institute (MHLI)
PHMA and its educational partner MHLI offer training and certification to individuals from the military and private sectors engaged in military housing. IREM has partnered with PHMA and MHLI, along with the National Apartment Association (NAA) to create the Certified Defense Privatization Manager (CDPM) program for professionals involved in the management of privatized military housing.

IREM courses and/or credentials also apply to these credentials given by other organizations.
