| Professional Edge Session: New Real Estate Manager (Monday, May 3) |
|
The Professional Edge session “Personal Paradox – Leading More (and Less) in Times of Stress” provided participants with a tool to use in leading during difficult economic times.
Effectively leading an organization through turbulent times requires managers to be many things at once—conservative and daring, candid and diplomatic, tough and caring, disciplined and flexible are just a few of the paradoxes that leaders must be—all at once! The session examined how to harness the ‘power of the and’, and how to help seasoned leaders show up stronger (and softer) for their organization.
Among the objectives covered:
- Understanding the foundational concepts of Polarity Management and how they relate to the importance of Leadership Paradox
- Knowing how to apply Leadership Paradox concepts to lead organizations through economically turbulent times
For more information on Polarity Management, read the summary introduction.
