Continuing Education
Select IREM courses provide continuing education (CE) credit for real estate professionals. Re-licensure credit can only be earned through state-approved IREM classroom courses and vary by state.
For a full listing of IREM classroom courses, see the IREM course schedule.
When viewing a course, look for the
and click on it to see if the course applies.
IMPORTANT! Receiving State Continuing education is not immediate. Please keep the following information in mind as you take a classroom course offering:
- At the conclusion of the classroom course offering, the student MUST indicate on the “bubble form” provided, that they want CE by writing in their state licensing information.
- Before the CE information is submitted to the state, the student’s exam scores must be processed and the IREM student transcript updated.
- IREM standard course completion processing time is 45 days from the day IREM receives the course materials.
Please allow enough time to renew your license!
Please note:
Each course has an “expiration date” that varies by state. If you are pursuing CE, confirm with your course sponsor directly that the course you register for will have CE recognition at the time you attend. Because expiration dates change on a regular basis, a course providing CE at the time of registration may not be approved at the time the course is being offered.
Only state-approved classroom courses have been approved for continuing education credit. No continuing education credit is available for IREM self-paced or online courses at this time.
