IREM Leaders Meet with Poland Chapter No. 108
IREM President Patty Nooney, CPM, her husband Patrick Byrne, and Nancye Kirk, IREM membership vice president, met with 10 members of IREM's Poland Chapter No. 108 in October 2003 in Krakow, Poland. During a chapter luncheon meeting, important topics of special relevance to the Polish CPM members were discussed, including expansion of the IREM program in Poland.

IREM currently has 17 CPM members in Poland at this time and through the chapter, IREM offers courses on an ongoing basis and certifies new CPM members.

IREM Leaders Attend Ninth Annual CEREAN Conference held in Krakow, Poland
IREM President Patty Nooney, CPM, her husband Patrick Byrne, and Nancye Kirk, IREM membership vice president, attended this annual event hosted by the Central European Real Estate Association Network (CEREAN). IREM representatives were able to assess the importance of IREM's future involvement in CEREAN and to discuss collaboration on future property management training programs.

IREM Leaders Visit Poland
IREM President W. Alan Huffman, CPM, and Ron Vukas, IREM Executive Vice President, traveled to Warsaw in October 2000 and met with representatives of the Polish Real Estate Federation, installed new CPM members, and participated in a meeting with Poland Chapter No. 108.

IREM Poland Chapter No. 108, IREM's first chapter outside of North America, was established in 1998.

IREM Introduces its Education and Certification Programs in Poland
IREM began its expansion into Poland in 1996, through a partnership with the Polish Federation of Real Estate Brokers, the International Real Property Foundation (formerly the Eastern European Real Property Foundation), and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
