Become an Accredited Commercial Manager (ACoM)
The challenges in today’s job market—from industry consolidation and increased competition to being expected to do more with less—make it harder for you to prove your experience and your credibility. IREM’s Accredited Commercial Manager (ACoM) certification will give you increased market visibility and credibility you will need with owners, investors, and employers to set you apart from the competition.
- Employers value those who choose to develop their skills.
- You can keep in touch with new solutions and technologies in the industry.
- The experience and knowledge you demonstrate to earn the ACoM certification assures employers that you possess the specialized skills they seek in commercial managers.
- Earning the ACoM certification will help you advance in your real estate management career regardless of your current level.
Did you know that earning the ACoM certification is a great stepping stone toward the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation?
If you are a commercial site manager and your portfolio has not yet reached the minimum size for the CPM designation, you can gain training, skills, and industry knowledge with the ACoM certification while working towards the CPM. The intermediate courses necessary for the ACoM also count toward the CPM education requirement.
For more information about the benefits of ACoM membership, visit the Member Benefits page.
Vendors, suppliers and service providers to the real estate management industry are not eligible for ACoM membership. For information about advertising or sponsorship opportunities click here
