Lori Tillis, CPM, HCCP, is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) Executive Committee. She is a senior asset manager with the Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH), in Columbus, the leading Low Income Housing Tax Credit syndicator in the state of Ohio. Tillis earned her Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation in 1996. Long active in IREM’s Columbus Chapter, she has served in numerous leadership positions with the chapter, including that of president both in 2006 and 2012. Tillis served for two years as an IREM regional vice president and has been a long-time member of the IREM Governing Council.
She is responsible for assuring compliance with the rules and regulations of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program, including monitoring overall property performance in the areas of marketing, maintenance and fair housing; reviewing tenant files for compliance; oversight for financial reporting; and property management. Tillis has 30 years of housing experience and holds several professional credentials in addition to the IREM CPM designation. They include Housing Credit Certified Professional, Fair Housing Specialist, and Certified Home Inspector.
Tillis obtained her Real Estate Broker’s License in 1993. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in education from the University of Rio Grande, Rio Grande, Ohio.
