IREM Diversity Statement
IREM encourages diversity. We welcome individuals of all races, genders, creeds, ages, sexual orientations, national origins, and individuals with disabilities. Our organization strives to provide an equal opportunity environment among its members, vendors, and staff.

In support of this statement, IREM provides scholarships for diverse IREM leaders to participate at IREM national meetings and demonstrates inclusion and encourages diversity through its professional journal, JPM, professional and chapter learning opportunities at national meetings, in alliances with other organizations, and through local outreach and mentoring by IREM chapters to attract diverse student and member base.

In addition, the IREM Foundation provides scholarships for IREM courses to individuals who are members of underrepresented groups.

Diversity Scholars Program
The Diversity Scholars program recognizes IREM Members from underrepresented groups in the real estate management profession who have demonstrated leadership skills at the chapter level, an interest in advancing their leadership skills at IREM at the national level, and in advancing their property management careers using IREM networking and resources.

Eight qualified applicants will be selected to receive complimentary registrations and up to $1,000 travel subsidy to attend the IREM Fall Leadership Conference in 2016.
