COVID-19 health & safety protocols

IREM® is committed to maintaining a healthy atmosphere for all attendees joining us in person for the Global Summit in Las Vegas. While we look forward to reconnecting with one another, we also want to ensure you that your health and safety remains a top priority.

IREM continues to monitor the CDC guidelines and will follow health authorities. Therefore, in an abundance of caution, we’ve put the following plans in place to ensure a safe environment for all.

Required for all attendees – advance prep recommended

All attendees, including full registrants, day pass registrants, guests for ticketed events only, IREM HQ team, exhibitors, sponsors, Industry Partners, vendors, and speakers must follow these protocols:

  1. Sign a COVID-19 liability waiver in advance of the Summit as requested at the time of registration. Review a copy of the waiver.
  2. Show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours from the day you’re checking in at the Global Summit registration desk – using this Vaccine Pass link to upload a copy of your vaccine card or a negative test result prior to your arrival at the Summit. We highly recommend that all attendees complete this step prior to arriving at the Summit in order to streamline your check-in process on-site. This verification will be required before receiving your Summit badge and accessing Summit events and activities – badges must be worn at all times, including at ticketed events for attendees and guests. COVID-19 tests will be available on-site through InHouse Physicians at the individual’s own cost of $195. (More information below.)
  3. Adhere to the State of Nevada’s mask mandate issued on July 29, 2021, and the Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa’s mask policy, both of which require all individuals to wear face coverings or masks regardless of vaccination status when in any indoor public spaces except when actively eating or drinking.

If an attendee requires quarantine while at the Global Summit, the Clark County Well Care Program will house them off-site, where they’ll receive full medical and needs support. More information on the quarantine protocols can be found in the following:

What to expect onsite

InHouse Physicians medical professionals will be on-site at the Global Summit from Monday, Oct. 11 through Thursday, Oct. 15, from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. PT.

  1. When arriving at the Summit registration area, you must first be cleared by InHouse Physicians by providing one of the following:
    • A copy of your vaccine card uploaded via the Vaccine Pass link. We highly recommend that this is done prior to arriving at the Summit in order to streamline your on-site experience. If not done prior, you’ll need to upload to the Vaccine Pass link on-site. Either way, bring your vaccine card or a copy of it with you to the Summit. Their preferred vaccines are Pfizer, Moderna, J&J, and AstraZeneca.
    • A negative COVID-19 test completed within 72 hours of checking in at the Summit uploaded via the Vaccine Pass link. We highly recommend that this is done prior to arriving at the Summit in order to streamline your on-site experience. If not done prior, you’ll need to upload your negative test results to the Vaccine Pass link on-site. Either way, bring a copy of your negative test results with you to the Summit.
    • A negative COVID-19 rapid test taken on-site through InHouse Physicians at your own expense ($195), payable by credit/debit card via Square or PayPal.
  2. After verification of one of the above, you’ll be able to proceed to the Summit registration desk to complete your check-in and receive your Summit badge. If you fail to verify one of the above, you’ll be denied all access to the Global Summit. Badges must be worn to all Summit events and activities by all attendees, including guests for ticketed events who must also follow the protocols in Step 1 above. Anyone who does not have a Summit badge will be denied access.
  3. Daily health check-ins are highly encouraged each day before attending any Summit events. A notice will be sent by text or email from InHouse Physicians every morning by 6:00 a.m. PT to check your health status.

Share your social distancing preference

We’ll have color-coded badge ribbons available at the Summit registration desk for those who would like to specify their level of comfort with social distancing during the Summit.

  • A red ribbon indicates no contact.
  • A yellow ribbon indicates elbows only.
  • A green ribbon indicates handshakes welcome.
