How to earn the CSP-AP credential

To be eligible for the CSP-AP credential, you must:

  1. Submit an application
    Complete the CSP-AP application and submit the $399 application fee.
  2. Complete the CSP-AP course
    Take the CSP-AP course, which covers CSP requirements, documentation, and the application process in depth.
  3. Pass the CSP-AP exam
    Pass the 75‑question CSP-AP exam with a score of 70% or higher.

Once you’ve met these requirements, you’ll earn the CSP-AP credential and be formally recognized for your proficiency with the CSP program. You will also receive a digital badge from Credly.

  • How long does the CSP-AP last?

    The CSP-AP is good for three years. After three years, you must renew the CSP-AP by retaking the course and exam by December 31 of the year in which your credential is due for renewal.
