Proptech Insights Survey: Review the results

IREM’s annual survey explores how and why property managers are using proptech. The survey reveals insights around the use of AI, 5G, virtual/augmented reality, and other technology applications in real estate management.

  • Automating repetitive tasks remained the top problem faced by real estate management professionals that they believe can be solved by proptech. Collecting and/or using data to make decisions moved into the number two spot.
  • Proptech implementations were up in AI, 5G, and IoT/smart home technology.
  • Overall cost – one-time plus ongoing was the top hurdle faced by respondents in making proptech implementations.
