John is currently General Manager with Markland Consulting working with institutional clients, real estate facilities, and the property management industry across Canada. He has been involved with acquisitions, sales and management of commercial, multi-residential, data centers and industrial properties. John is also a Realtor in the province of Ontario.
John is the Past President of the Toronto Chapter and also a Director on the National Board of The Real Estate Institute of Canada. He helps organize educational seminars, building tours, networking events and the Industry Leader Speaker series for members to attend. Prior to that he was a member of the Professional Standards Committee.
John received the Member of the Year award in 2018 and the J. A. Weber award in 2019 from the Real Estate Institute of Canada. His motto is to “never stop learning”.
