HVAC systems are where most of us spend the largest share of our client’s maintenance and repair dollars. But few of us have more than a vague idea of how these expensive systems actually work. This will be a non-technical discussion for property managers and others who are responsible for the budgeting, repair, and replacement costs associated with HVAC systems, and want to understand more about how they work. You will learn all about how our building systems operate to produce comfortable interior conditions for our residents and tenants and what causes a lot of the repair issues we often have with these systems.

Key takeaways:

  • How the refrigeration cycle works
  • Why the removal of heat from the space is key to reducing temperature
  • What your technicians are (or should be) doing to keep these systems running efficiently and effectively.
