After two years, IREM is going back to Washington, D.C. for our Advocacy Impact Day on March 28-29!!  By attending, you will serve as an expert in the field and advocate for our industry. Plus, you'll help us elevate the profession that we love, network with other members, and meet with elected officials. Meeting with lawmakers is critical for the future health and growth of the industry.

Ted Thurn is IREM’s Senior Director of Government Affairs.

Ted has worked in the association field for the past 20 years. During his time in government affairs, Ted has led all aspects of federal and state legislative advocacy efforts and has served as a key advisor on emerging federal and state legislative agendas. At IREM, Ted is responsible for a number of government affairs initiatives and provides strategic support and recommendation of actions to executive leadership.

Ted holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Saint Xavier University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from DePaul University.

Amadi McPherson is IREM’s Government Affairs Liaison, Government Affairs.

Amadi has had the pleasure of servicing the population directly impacted by social and economic injustices, most of his career. Whether providing direct service, research and analysis or policy recommendations, Amadi’s gift is anchored in mission driven work. His overall goal is to push the envelope forward for a more just society that works for all.
