Russ is the National Systems Integration Leader at Jackson Control responsible for the National Systems team and its collaboration with medical office building (MOB) owners throughout the US. Serving as a Building Automation System (BAS) Consultant and Master Systems Integrator, he establishes portfolio-wide Facilities Technology standards. His role spans designing project scopes, managing bids, and overseeing the installation of BAS Controls as a Project Manager.
His career started in the HVAC sector, where he honed his skills at a Residential Light Commercial HVAC Company. Through an immersive On-the-Job Training (OJT) program, he gained proficiency in HVAC equipment installation and Building Automation Controls, all while actively engaging in sales and estimating.
Transitioning to a significant Commercial and Industrial Mechanical company, Russ evolved from a Service Technician to roles such as Controls Manager and Energy Project Development Leader, entailing quality assurance, technical support, and superior customer service. Holding a Certified Energy Manager (CEM®) credential since 2017, he spearheaded diverse BAS and Energy projects
Russ has been married to his high school sweetheart Becky for nearly 30 years and has 3 adult children as well as 1 daughter-in-law. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, watching movies, and playing golf.
