Deadline for NFIP Approaches Once Again

The two-week extension of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) is set to expire on December 21. If the program expires, flood insurance will become more costly or even unavailable for millions of people and businesses across the country.

IREM supports long-term authorization of the federal flood insurance program, together with reforms to improve the program.
