Education – choose one of five options:

Course schedules

If you plan to take Managing Residential Properties (RES201) in the classroom, consider the ARM Track to meet the ARM education, ethics, and examination requirements.

If you took IREM courses prior to 2005, find out which of these courses earn credit by reviewing the ARM Course Equivalency Chart

Option 3

Hold a CPM, CAM, CRM, or RAM designation


Option 4

Have an undergraduate or graduate degree with a major, minor, or concentration in real estate or property management, or an associate's degree in a non-commercial property or real estate management program.




Other Requirements

  • Submit an ARM application with the non-refundable application fee, which is $80.
  • Submit three Confidential Letters of Recommendation (included in ARM application).
  • Be interviewed and recommended for approval by your IREM Chapter.
