    Courtney is responsible for HallKeen Management’s marketing, leasing, occupancy and creative strategy. She oversees the marketing department’s campaigns and initiatives by working closely with the three marketing professionals in the department. The marketing professionals assist the property management teams in overcoming occupancy challenges, strategizing marketing efforts, public relations, branding, advertising, event planning and rent analyses.

    Under Courtney’s leadership, HallKeen Management’s marketing department has successfully launched new branding for the company, a new website and employee portal, handled multiple new construction lease-ups, as well as employee training and community outreach initiatives. Courtney has expertise in budgeting, advertising, market and competitive research, and lease-ups. She works with all types of multi-family properties; from conventional to mixed-income to affordable with varying layers of complex affordability program.

    Courtney collaborates and communicates with all of the departments at HallKeen on a regular basis. She is often the main contact person for proposals, new business development and owner/client interaction. From ground up lease-ups, to stabilized properties – Courtney and her skilled marketing team enter each task with winning positive attitudes and interpersonal skills to create success.

    Courtney has been recognized as HallKeen Management’s 2012 “Corporate Superstar.” She earned the National Apartment Leasing Professional designation in 2012, achieved her Certified Tax Credit Compliance Professional (C3P) in 2016, and Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) designation in 2016.

    Courtney is enthusiastically involved in the rental housing industry, playing a dynamic role in young leadership. She has served on the Rental Housing Association’s (RHA/NAA) NextGen committee as an active member since 2014 and as its Chair since January 2016.

    Courtney grew up in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts and then attended Hofstra University in NY. She graduated with a BA in English and a minor in Fine Arts & Photography in 2006. She joined HallKeen in 2009 as Marketing Specialist, was promoted to Marketing Manager in 2012, and promoted again in 2015 to Associate Director of Marketing. Prior to HallKeen, Courtney worked in the academic publishing field.

    In her spare time, you can find Courtney hiking with her husband and dog, redecorating her home, singing jazz songs, or trying out new restaurants. She enjoys traveling, photography, comedy, and is advocate for animal adoption.
