Registration cancellation policy
To have consideration for a refund or course transfer, we require that you contact us in advance of the course at getinfo@irem.org or (800) 837-0706. The chart below describes our cancellation policy based on the period in which you provide notice.

Note: IREM may from time to time find it necessary to cancel a classroom course, live online course, or webinar. In such cases, your registration fee will be fully refunded. However, IREM assumes no liability for any expenses incurred other than the registration fee.
IREM does not provide extensions for any courses or exams.
Accessing courses and exams
All courses, exams, and appropriate materials are accessed through IREM Learning. When registering for a course or exam, you will receive registration confirmations with further instructions. If you do not see a course registration confirmation, please check your junk or spam folders. They are sent to the primary email on file – the one used to log into irem.org.

Course exams
Scheduling exams and exam information
All certification exams are taken with a live online proctor through ProctorU. For more information about live online proctoring and how to schedule your exam, click here.
All exams are open book, which means you may only access IREM course materials - either a hard copy or PDF version during the exam.
The chart below shows each individual exam and the respective completion deadline. This deadline is also communicated to you via your course registration.

Results for all exams are calculated immediately upon submission. Individuals will also receive an email confirming their results. An exam score of 70% or better is needed to pass the CPM, ARM, and ACoM certification exams and the MPSA exam.
Technical requirements and considerations
- Laptop computer, desktop computer, or tablet*
- Reliable internet connection
- Built-in or external webcam
- Speaker to hear the class
- Microphone to speak to the class
- A standard calculator or the calculator on your laptop
- Ability to access a Zoom meeting
- Cell phones are not permitted during exam time
- Only one screen can be used for the exam
*Tablets are not allowed for certification exams. For additional technical requirements for certification exams, click here.
