Course Description
As an extension of our course, Understanding Retail Leasing, IREM is offering a more in-depth look at the leasing experience through a three-part series that considers leasing from the perspectives of the tenant as well as the owner and the property manager, and more closely examines the lease details.
In this first part, you'll explore leasing from the tenant perspective to:
- Understand the most important aspects of renting a space from the perspective of a tenant
- Determine what leasing terms are most requested as well as when and why they’re granted
- Know the pros and cons of turnkey and tenant improvement allowance and which to apply under different circumstance
