Course Description
This course will cover the basics of fair housing. We will learn about the protected classes, what they are and how to stay in compliance. Fair housing is very important in the property management industry as violations could result in larges monetary penalties.
Fair housing is becoming more to the forefront. There are many more instances of discrimination complaints. It is important to learn how to act fairly and avoid the complaints in the first place. Knowledge is power.
Paul will provide many “real world” examples used in this course.
The goal is to provide you with the basic information to stay in compliance with the Fair Housing Act.
