Chrystal Skead will cover leasing agent skills ranging from the basics, to experienced agents who are learning tips and tricks.  Together, we will dive into how to enhance your current skills as a Residential Leasing Agent to become much more effective at turning Prospects into Applicants.

  • Have a solid awareness of how to create great first impressions with your Prospects
  • Understand the importance of and ways to ensure optimal personal and property presentation
  • Be able to demonstrate effective methods of Greeting, Qualifying, Features and Benefit Selling, Overcoming Objections, and Closing

Chrystal Skead, CPM®, ARM®, has been active in the property management industry for over 30 years, working through various levels and companies. She has been a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management since 1990 and has served on local Chapter boards as well as President of the Real Estate Institute of Canada and represented Canada as VP/RVP (twice) for IREM.  She obtained her Certificate in Adult Continuing Education through the University of Alberta with Distinction in 2006, and subsequently became a qualified instructor through the Institute of Real Estate Management.  Chrystal also worked with MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta, in initiating their Property Management Minor.  She most recently worked with ONE Properties, assisting with the development and management of their multifamily management division.  Currently living in the Calgary area, Chrystal works together with her partner, Allan Carr, RPA, providing facilitation, mentoring, and consulting services through their company Clear Stone Asset Consulting Inc. Together, they also enjoy copious amounts of travel, golf, and spending quality time with their twelve grandchildren.
