About Regional Vice Presidents
IREM’s Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) are connectors of IREM Headquarters and chapters, and among the chapters within their regions. Serving as an ambassador, coach, guide, visionary, and strategic partner, RVPs collaborate with chapters to help them grow and succeed.
We are no longer accepting applications for 2024-2025 Regional Vice Presidents. Applications for 2025-2026 Regional Vice Presidents will open in Spring 2023 for the following regions:
Region 2 - Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania
Region 5 - Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi
Region 6 - Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia
Region 8 - Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah
Region 11 - California, Hawaii
Region 12 - Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming
Region 13 - North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee
Things to know about the RVP position
Desired qualifications for RVPs include:
- Must be a CPM (required)
- Live and work within the region’s jurisdiction
- Active engagement and knowledgeable about the real estate management business
- Previous experience as an elected chapter officer for at least two years, including Chapter President
- Previous experience at the national level
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of IREM’s governance and operations
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Passion for innovation and creative problem-solving
