CHICAGO (December 11, 2025) – The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) is excited to announce Johnny Noon as its new Chief Growth and Member Experience Officer, effective Jan. 5, 2026.
Noon comes to IREM from the National Association of REALTORS® (of which IREM is an affiliate of) where he has served as their Director of Commercial Engagement and Strategy since 2021. In that role, he led NAR’s commercial division, where he delivered double-digit growth in commercial membership, expanded strategic partnerships that increased value for commercial practitioners, and strengthened national awareness of NAR’s commercial programs and services. Noon spearheaded the launch and development of the C5 Summit, establishing it as a premier commercial real estate event, and advanced initiatives that improved how association leaders and members engage with NAR’s commercial resources.
Prior to his time at NAR, he spent 15 years as a commercial practitioner, directing complex retail expansion efforts and negotiating transactions across domestic and international markets. Noon held positions with Brookfield Properties and General Growth Properties, where he specialized in restaurant and entertainment leasing, business development, and retail site selection. Earlier in his career, he led growth strategy and construction for major multinational retail brands, overseeing new market entry and store development initiatives.

Noon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of North Texas and has been recognized as one of Chain Store Age’s “Retail’s 40 Under 40.” Outside of work, he is a devoted foodie and home chef, a design and renovations enthusiast, and a proud father.
