CHICAGO (January 5, 2024) - In honor of IREM's 90th anniversary last year, and an historic all-women leadership team, the IREM Foundation set a heartfelt and audacious goal in 2023: to raise $90,000 in support of empowering women to earn their IREM certification and gain access to powerful networking opportunities through IREM. The IREM Foundation is thrilled to announce it will provide aspiring women in the industry access to education with a brand-new Women in Leadership scholarship in 2024 and offer eligible scholarship recipients a stipend to attend the 2024 Global Summit.
“Our goal was not just met, but surpassed with an incredible outpouring of support from our community. This new opportunity is a testament to the dedication of our donors and the Foundation's mission to foster inclusivity and excellence within the real estate management profession," shares Chip Crumpler, CPM®, 2023 IREM Foundation President. Scholarship applications will be accepted throughout 2024 until funds are expended.
Together, with our supporters, chapters, and volunteers, the IREM Foundation can bridge the gap between ambition and opportunity, and empower women in the industry to turn their dreams into reality.
