2024 Advocacy Impact Day + ESG Summit

IREM® is partnering with the IREM Foundation in 2024

This exciting new partnership will include a full day of programming to help you address the issues that matter.

Overview

IREM’s Advocacy Impact Day in 2024 will be expanding to include a full day of programming, which will include environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) education, networking opportunities and an advocacy orientation. On the programming day, attendees will not only learn about how to meet with their federal legislators and advocate for meaningful change, but will also gain knowledge about one of the most significant issues affecting the property management industry – sustainability.

Participate in Advocacy Impact Day + ESG Summit and:

  • Learn about the issues impacting the real estate management industry, and how to help shape them.
  • Gain deeper understanding of ESG regulations and how to implement sustainability measures in your buildings.
  • Build relationships with legislators as it will allow you to work more closely with them and establish yourself as a subject matter expert.
  • Speak directly to the people with the power to change laws and regulations about issues that matter to you, your business, and the clients you represent.
  • Gain valuable exposure and experience.
  • Be part of something bigger than yourself.

IREM and the IREM Foundation, aligned in providing tools and resources on sustainability to IREM members, are partnering for the first time on Advocacy Impact Day 2024. In addition, one of the Foundation’s missions is to provide access to innovations in technology and sustainability.

Program day highlights

On the programming day, the morning sessions will address sustainability issues, such as benchmarking, conservation, and how to improve reporting and performance metrics.

After the morning session, the attendees will have lunch while listening to an expert panel on sustainability and its effect on the property management industry. After the panel, the IREM Foundation will recognize real estate management firms with top-performing properties and recipients of the Jackson Control Sustainability Awards.

The afternoon sessions will focus on the issues affecting the real estate management industry and offer instruction on how to meet with federal legislators to advocate for meaningful change.  Meeting with lawmakers is critical for the future health and growth of the industry, don’t miss this opportunity to make your voice heard.
