IREM’s Leadership Team will be traveling to National Harbor Maryland for the National Association of Realtor’s 2022 legislative Meetings. The Realtors® Legislative Meeting, which will take place May 1-6, is a space that enables members to collaborate and take an active role in moving the needle forward in the Real estate Industry, legislation and association arena.

Meet with your Legislators

Have you met with your Legislator recently? Kevin Logue, IREM’s Vice President of the Legislative and Public Policy committee, was granted an opportunity to sit and chat with Congressman Soto of Florida’s 9th Congressional district. Here’s what he had to say about his meeting with Congressman Soto. “So grateful for the Congressman’s time and support of IREM’s public policy priorities. Congressman Soto is very interested in H.R. 6880, which is the companion bill to the Senate 1820 Choice in Affordable Housing Act; both supported by IREM.” The bills would increase the number of landlords participating in the Housing Choice Voucher program.
