Capitol Hill Fly-In

Conducting a face-to-face meeting with your members of Congress, or their staff, is the most effective way to educate and influence legislators on issues important to the property management industry.

What is the Capitol Hill Fly-in? Find out from Dawn Carpenter, CPM®, IREM Legislative and Public Policy Committee Vice Chair.

The Capitol Hill Fly-in offers IREM members an opportunity to meet with their federal legislators and advocate for issues of importance to the real estate management industry.

Meeting with lawmakers in Washington is critical for the future health and growth of the industry, and IREM is making it as easy as possible to make your voice heard. Participating in the Fly-in allows you to:

  • Build relationships with legislators that will only increase in value over time
  • Speak directly to the people with the power to change laws and regulations about issues that matter to you, your business, and the clients you represent
  • Gain valuable exposure and experience
  • Be part of something bigger than yourself
