My career started when I was 19. A property manager was crazy enough to hire a "fresh out of high school kid" that had no idea how renter's insurance worked, and would seem to forget to put the cart away more often than not. As the adage would say, "It wouldn't be property management if it did not involve some sort of crazy". I quickly fell in love and made the decision that I would give it my best. Over time I have come to understand the importance of education within this industry, and so made decisions to pursue my Accredited Residential Manager designation through IREM, and my Certified Apartment Manager designation through the National Apartment Association. In addition to this, I have completed all necessary course work to achieve my CAPS through NAA and will apply this education to the end-goal of achieving my Certified Property Manager designation through IREM. Though I am no expert, the past 8 years have allowed me to experience the leadership challenges of leading a team towards “better”, the daily impact of financial decisions affecting the overall valuation of an asset, the opportunistic intricacies of market trends, and the effect of today’s courteous client rapport yielding increased revenue tomorrow. However, no experience will fulfill me more than seeing my associates and colleagues grow, our vendor partners in business, and our assets thriving! One thing is for certain, I married property management 8 years ago and it's until "death do us part"!
