2019 IREM 30 Under 30 Recipient

“Being chosen as one of IREM’s 30 under 30 doesn't mean gaining recognition for late nights and hours spent working off the clock. Being chosen assures me that this is the direction I am meant to pursue. After reading through the previous recipients’ bios, I am humbled to be categorized with such impressive, young professionals. Although I am elated to have earned such an honor, I understand that I have a lot to learn before I turn 30.”

Devin graduated from Seton Hall University in 2017, with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and an Entrepreneurship Certificate. With a previous interest in real estate, and a special preference in property management, he began working as a leasing agent at a 240-unit luxury apartment building in New Jersey. Within the first month, he absorbed the assistant manager's responsibilities, and eight months later, he assumed the role of property manager. With the help and support of his team, he raised operating income 14.51%, and increased NOI by 46.48% from 2017 to 2018. He assisted in the creation of company-wide budgets, SOPs, employee & resident handbooks, and new employee training procedures, all while earning his ARM certification. He is currently a member of the IREM New Jersey Ch.#1 and was recently awarded the Donald M. Furbush Scholarship to pursue his CPM designation.
