Itati started her career in property management at the age of 19. In 2017, she began her journey with Cortland as a leasing consultant. She was quickly promoted to Assistant Community Manager and finally a Community Manager at the age of 22. Her niche was found this past August 2021, in the Talent Development department at Cortland. She now gets to onboard and develop associates in Cortland's Houston, Austin, and San Antonio markets. Her favorite part of her career has been watching her associates blossom in their roles and find their purpose. Itati is extremely passionate about developing both her English and Spanish speaking associates. Her Hispanic roots have allowed her to translate and facilitate courses in Español for associates that are primarily Spanish speakers. Her platform now has allowed her to support more associates than ever before. She's led associates through a world-stopping pandemic and record-breaking freezes in Texas but wouldn't change any part of it. In her free time, she loves dancing, trying new brunch places, and spending time with friends and family. Itati is honored to have been chosen as one of IREM's 30 under 30 and looks forward to continuing her growth in this amazing industry.
