As a proud born and raised Washingtonian, Shawna began her property management journey in 2018. Within her first year while working at Goodman Real Estate, her property won “Community of the Year.” Since then, she has gone from Leasing Agent to Leasing Manager, and now onto her current role of Director of Customer Relations to an on-site property in Puyallup. In her current role at Palladium Real Estate Services, she is overseeing an in-depth property renovation that began in 2020 and consists of 470 units. This project is anticipated to be completed in Spring of 2024.
At the beginning of this year, Shawna received her Accredited Residential Manager (ARM®) certification through IREM and is actively working on her Certified Property Manager (CPM®) courses. She has been the recipient of two scholarships through the IREM Foundation, including the Diversity Scholarship in December of 2021, and the Donald M. Furbush Scholarship in January of 2023. What does the future look like for Shawna? She aims to work her way up to the corporate level as an Asset Manager and is eager to continue her education and experience.
