Course Description
This course covers the impacts of increased insurance costs on affordable housing providers. The content is based on research findings from a national survey of affordable housing providers conducted by ndp | analytics for the National Leased Housing Association in 2023.
Learning objectives:
- Review changes in insurance premiums, rationale for premium increases, and actions taken by housing providers to mitigate increased operation costs due to the current insurance environment.
- Delve into housing provider's experience with policy renewals for commercial property, general premium liability, and excess/umbrella liability insurance.
