IREM 2018 Public Policy Priorities

Every January, IREM compiles a list of the top public policy priorities for the year. IREM Public Policy Priorities are based on: Issues we have followed in the past; Issues we have discussed on the Hill; and the Public Policy Priorities survey recently send to our Legislative and Public Policy Committee, Federal Housing Advisory Board, Federal Advocacy Board, and Chapter Legislative Chairs.

Members may notice that 1031 Like-Kind Exchanges and Carried Interest are not included in this year’s list. Since both provisions were included in the recently passed Tax Reform legislation, they are not included in the Priorities list.
