Shannon Longino, CPM®, HCCP, CMH, CMO, TCS, SBS, is the 2022-2023 regional vice president for IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management) for Region 4, encompassing chapters in Georgia and Florida. She’s also a Senior Vice President with Truist Bank, and works with their Affordable Housing Finance/Asset Management Division (Truist Community Capital). She’s been in the industry for more than 25 years, and has an extensive background in multi-family property management and asset management leadership. She’s held several positions of increasing responsibility, e.g. Senior Vice President, Vice President/Senior Asset Manager, Regional Manager, Property Manager, and Resident Services Director. 

Shannon graduated from Alameda College with a B.A. in Sociology and earned her professional designations such as CPM (Certified Property Manager) from IREM, while also holding other distinguished designations such as the HCCP (Housing Credit Compliance Professional) from the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders), CMH (Certified Manager of Housing), CMO (Certified Manager of Occupancy), TCS (Certified Tax Credit Specialist), and SBS (Site Based Budget Specialist) from the NCHM (National Center for Housing Management). Shannon’s also served in the United States Army 

She was named IREM’s 2019 CPM of the Year, and received the All-Star Presidential Award. She’s served on IREM’s Federal Housing Advisory Board, as well as the Executive Board for IREM’s Georgia Chapter in roles such as chapter president (2019), VP of Finance, VP of Communications, Membership Committee Chair, and Corporate Outreach Committee Chair.

Shannon’s a native of Atlanta and has devoted her life and time to her family’s legacy of community service by advocating for low income families with a focus on housing, education, health & wellness, and community revitalization/redevelopment.
