CHICAGO (April 7, 2021) – IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management) has opened its annual REME (Real Estate Management Excellence) Awards for 2021. These awards celebrate the essential work that real estate managers and firms do each day – managing through crisis and uncertainty to make a difference in the community.
Through the challenges of the past year, real estate managers and management companies have made great innovations, overcome tough issues, and uplifted their communities. The REME Awards will celebrate and recognize these achievements and the hard work that they continue to do.
For 2021, IREM will accept nominations through June 11 for the following award categories:
- CPM® of the Year
- ARM® of the Year
- AMO® of the Year
- IREM Innovator Award
- IREM Excellence Award – Individual
- IREM Excellence Award – Corporate
All are welcome to apply or nominate someone for an individual award.
New to the REME Awards for 2021 is the IREM Excellence Award. With categories available for individuals and for companies, the IREM Excellence Award recognizes those who have demonstrated a commitment to the profession, made extraordinary achievements, and/or has had a positive impact on the communities it serves. These accomplishments could include community service and volunteer efforts, educational achievements, leadership and/or professional development initiatives, or how they promote IREM values.
“Since last year, real estate managers and companies have faced many challenges and as a result did some remarkable things to overcome them,” say Chip Watts, CPM®, CCIM, 2021 IREM President. “The REME Awards is a way for them to share their stories with others and to get recognized for the essential work they do every day.”
Finalists will be announced in August and winners will be recognized at the 2021 IREM Global Summit in October.
