Melissa Steele, CPM®, Chief Executive Officer, E&G Group

The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®), an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®, invites you to join a luncheon briefing addressing:

Sustainability & the Real Estate Industry

There is a growing need for real estate managers to incorporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles within their everyday practices. Hear about real estate professionals integrating ESG into properties and the challenges the industry will face in the upcoming years.

Choice in Affordable Housing Act (S.32)

The Choice in Affordable Housing Act is bipartisan legislation that aims to increase private sector participation in the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. The Senate bill was introduced by Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) and Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND)

Respect State Housing Laws Act (H.R.802)

The Respect State Housing Laws Act was introduced on February 2, 2023, by Representative Barry Loudermilk (R-GA), and was referred to the House Committee on Financial Services. We urge Congress’ support of a legislative fix to the drafting error that caused the 30-day notice requirement to remain in law permanently.
