For 36 years, Real Estate Forum has been recognizing the remarkable achievements of women in real estate with the Women of Influence awards, one of real estate’s highest honors. This year, several IREM members were recognized as Women of Influence finalists, and four were named winners in these categories:

  • Property/Facility Manager of the Year
  • Humanitarian of the Year
  • CRE Consultant/Advisor of the Year

Winners were announced at the Globe St ELITE Women of Influence conference held in Broomfield, Colorado, earlier this month. Some categories received such a high caliber of entries that the judging panel chose to honor more than one finalist with gold, silver and bronze awards.

Congratulations to our 2019 winners.

Renee Savage, CPM, Gold Winner for Property/Facility Manager of the Year

Renee found her niche mentoring young talent. She works with students at the University of San Diego’s Burnham Moore Center for Real Estate, where she serves as a mentor in its real estate mentorship program, and as an instructor of real estate management classes in its graduate program.

Karen Whitt, CPM, Gold Winner for Humanitarian of the Year

Karen’s with Colliers International, AMO. She won this award based on her professional contributions and her work in the community, helping to prepare college students for careers in real estate, and her work changing the future of rescue animals by fostering dogs in her home.

Tessie Nolan, CPM, Silver Winner for Property/Facility Manager of the Year

Tessie’s focus is property operations. She leads more than 90 real estate management and maintenance professionals who bring award-winning service to Granite clients in five cities.

Jana Turner, CPM, Bronze Winner for CRE Consultant/Advisor of the Year

Jana has a passion for mentoring, with a gift for guiding women in commercial real estate to success. Her focus is on leadership skills and personal branding.

We’re honored to share this news, and especially honored to count these women among IREM members. Their success is our success.
